Let us beam you up with a unique stargazing experience
Bring your group to the Eastern Sierra Observatory and burn the night away at Stargazing Partyland! You’ll take over the whole place — the starry skies along with a huge telescope operated by our host, hot tub, stargazer lounge, huge grill and flat top griddle, 24 ft. redwood bar with sweeping Sierra views, SOUNDBOKS, SHIFTPODs equipped with padded cots, power stations, and galaxy lamps, pool table, mountainside lasers and party lights for added ambience, giant chess set with LED lights, and more! All yours, all night! Round up your crew, bring your favorite playlists, and prepare to get crazy under the cosmos!
Your group will take over the whole place
You can expect our usual unique stargazing experience, but along with the stargazing partyland atmosphere, which means things stay weirder and louder later into the night if you so please. The party is whatever your group makes it to be. Your host will operate the telescope, and make sure your experience is complete. Laser lights will scatter across the side of the mountain but can also be turned off upon your request, and all of the other amenities will be at your service at our location just outside of Bishop.

Use the calendar below to view the available dates. Please note that “Moonlit” nights are the same as regular nights, but land on nights when the moon is present in the sky, and so the moonlight drowns out some of the stargazing. That being said, the moon itself is pretty awesome to look at through the telescope!
When you book a group stay, your group will be the only one for that night and you’ll have the place to yourselves (the host/telescope operator will be on hand, too, but don’t worry — he’s cool). For a more detailed description of what to expect when visiting, please read this article and/or check out our FAQ.
